In a remarkable display of compassion, a chimpanzee at a zoo in Thailand has captured the hearts of many as it selflessly provides milk to a 60-day-old tiger cub.
At the Samut Prakan Zoo and Crocodile Farm in Bangkok, Thailand, a 2.5-year-old chimpanzee named Do Do has taken on the role of nurturing baby animals on a daily basis.
Fearlessly, Do Do tends to the tiger cubs as if they were his own offspring, displaying an incredible level of care and devotion.
According to Mr. Sirinaj, a 35-year-old zookeeper with two decades of experience, Do Do is a fast learner and quickly grasped the technique of holding a milk bottle after just a few demonstrations.
However, sometimes Do Do gets caught up in playful interactions with the tiger cubs, who are between 3 to 5 weeks old, causing him to momentarily forget his “nanny” duties.
The touching bond between this chimpanzee and the tiger cub serves as a testament to the power of empathy and reminds us of the remarkable connections that can be formed between different species.
