A baby girl is morphed fantastically into film and TV characters as she naps by her creative costume-making mom.
Los Angeles photographer Laura Izumikawa welcomed daughter Joey Marie four months ago, and claims that she simply couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful girl as she soundly slept in her crib.
In fact, the little girl slept so peacefully that it gave her mom an idea.

‘Joey slept so deeply so I thought it’d be fun adding little props around her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents and friends,’ Laura told BuzzFeed.
She used a blonde wig and a black paper bow to turn Joey into a miniature version of Chandelier singer Sia and shared it with her loved ones with success. And with that, a new hobby was born.
Since then, Laura has used things around her house and items borrowed from friends to create increasingly detailed outfits.
Using a yellow onesie, paper and felt, she turned little Joey into a napping Pikachu. In another photoshoot, she put a long black wig and top hat on her tot and laid a guitar next to her to make her look the spitting image of Guns’N’Roses guitarist Slash.

She even recently took on the binge-worthy Netflix favorite Stranger Things, using the blonde wig, Eggo waffles and a fake nosebleed to turn Joey into the mysterious super-powered character Eleven.
In all but a few of the images Laura takes of her finished works, Joey looks to be snoozing away unhindered.
And, according to Laura, the rare times when Joey wakes up during the process, she simply smiles, laughs and goes right back to napping.
