This woman from Kamloops in Canada was out for a walk when she witnessed something she will never forget. It was almost noon when Allison Burton saw a huge feral cat casually walking down her street. An adorable lynx took over the path as if it were a catwalk.
It was a sunny day, so the street was far from empty, but the majestic cat didn’t seem to be bothered at all. On the contrary, he even struck some stunning poses as he quietly went on his way. Naturally, an unusual sight like this could only draw everyone’s attention.
“Honestly, he didn’t care about anybody around him,” Burton said. “There were people riding bikes past him. He was in his own world enjoying the sun.”
Like the passersby, Burton couldn’t believe his eyes when he noticed a bobcat strutting down his street. Luckily, she found the courage to grab her cell phone and take some photos of the beautiful kitty.
“I have never seen one in real life, ever,” the woman told THE DODO. “I was so excited and in awe to see this beautiful creature walking so close to my house. It was so majestic and happy to be in his own little world, doing his thing.”
Bobcat sightings are apparently quite common among Kamloops residents, with several reports this year.
