Hennessey Performance has just revealed the new Hennessey VelociRaptoR 6×6.
The Texan tuning firm has effectively transformed the Ford Raptor R, with its supercharged 5.2-liter V8, into a formidable 6×6 super truck.
Using a third-generation Ford F-150 Raptor R as a base, the VelociRaptoR 6×6 has an extended boxed frame and a fully functional locking second rear axle.
The suspension features live-valve Fox shocks, with Brembo performance brakes ensuring plenty of stopping power.
A three-inch lift raises the body to accommodate Hennessey’s custom 20-inch alloy wheels that are wrapped in 37-inch off-road tires.
Lastly, a wide eight-foot (2.4-meter) long cargo bed replaces the original 5.5-foot (1.67-meter) bed, improving cargo capacity by more than 45 percent.
In addition to the mechanical updates, the 6×6 super truck gets new front and rear numbers, LED lights and Hennessey VelociRaptoR 6×6 badging.
It’s a beastly machine at nearly 27 feet long, roughly seven feet tall, and seven feet wide, with a curb weight of roughly 6,500 pounds.
The beefy Ford Raptor R engine, a supercharged 5.2-liter V8, is intact.
To be fair though, 700 bhp and 640 lb-ft of torque is more than enough power to dominate both on and off road.
Hennessey has really gotten into the 6×6 market in recent years, with the RAM-based MAMMOTH 6×6 TRX and Chevrolet-based Goliath 6×6 Silverado being offered by tuner Texan.
Last year, Hennessey began offering its updated third-generation Ford F-150 Raptor, the twin-turbo V6 ‘VelociRaptor 600 6×6’.

That’s a significant sum of money, but it includes the cost of a base Ford F-150 Raptor R.
